Shopify does not allow native sorting by stock quantity — but you can simulate it using tags and automation.
Step 1: Create Inventory Tags
- In stock →
stock-high - Low stock →
stock-low
Step 2: Sort by Tag Order
In collection settings:
- Sort by: Manual
- Drag high-stock products to the top
Optional: Auto-Tag with Shopify Flow
If you’re on Shopify Plus or Advanced, use Flow to auto-tag products based on inventory.
✅ Result: Customers see available products first.
